Music and Arts

Eddlemon Adventist Christian Academy has an active music and arts program. Its music program is designed to teach students to not only read and appreciate music, but to honor God through music.

Student music and arts groups perform throughout the school year for school programs, church programs, community events, and in two major concerts per year: A sacred Christmas concert and a spring concert.

Major Minors Handbell Choir

The Major Minors Handbell Choir for all students in kindergarten through third grades. Students learn to read notes, play color-coded handbells, and work together as a team. The K-3 Choir for all students in kindergarten through third grades.

Eddlemon Chimes Choir

The Eddlemon Chimes Choir for students in 4th-5th grades. Students learn to read music, basic music theory, and teamwork.

The Eddlemon Ukulele Band

Students in 4th-8th grades learn to play ukuleles.

The Eddlemon Handbell Ensemble

6th-8th grade students learn to play handbells and also to work together as a team. They learn basic music theory in order to be able to read music.

Additionally, Eddlemon offers piano, band instrument, and violin lessons.

Drama

Eddlemon Adventist Christian Academy provides students with a wide variety of opportunities to participate in drama including a skit club, an annual Christmas play, and a puppeteering club.

Visual Arts

Eddlemon Adventist Christian Academy uses Davis Art, Arts Attack, and a wide variety of other resources to provide its students with a wide variety of age-appropriate arts activities and projects. Eddlemon also sponsors a monthly art contest centered on one of a variety of art genres.
